The iSQAPER 2nd plenary meeting will be held from Monday 20 June – Thursday 23 June; arrival Sunday 19, departure Thursday evening or Friday morning.

 5. Food

Lunch is provided every day during the meeting. 
Dinners will need to be arranged by yourself, except for the joint project dinner (to be announced in the meeting program).

Special food arrangements has to be organized at place.

6. Travelling

The best is to fly to Budapest airport. There are different ways to reach Keszthely from Budapest (228 km) by public transportation. Here you can find some hints about travel.

From Budapest to Balatongyörök:
a) By bus (preferred): Buses depart from Budapest at bus station called „Népliget”. The travel is approximately 3 hours. You have to change in Keszthely. The online timetable is available here: http://ujmenetrend.cdata.hu/uj_menetrend/en/index.php
b) By train (less preferred because you need more changes): Trains depart from Budapest at “Déli pályaudvar”. Travel time is approximately 4-5 hours. The online timetable is available here: http://elvira.mav-start.hu/elvira.dll/x/index?language=2
c) By taxi: Directly at airport departure. Travel time is 2,5 hours. Price: approximately 140 Euros.
From Liszt Ferenc International Airport to bus station “Népliget” in Budapest:
a) By airport minibus (preferred): There is a city minibus service called Airport Shuttle which provides you a door to door airport transfer within Budapest. The Airport Minibus (+36 1 296 8555) will take you anywhere in the city for a fixed price. For further information, please visit its homepage: www.airportshuttle.hu/en .You can make your booking online or upon your arrival to the airport.
b) By public bus (BKV): First take bus 200E to “Kőbánya Kispest” then Metro M3 to “Népliget”.
c) Take a taxi. (approximately 20 Euros to “Népliget” bus station and takes more or less 20 minutes).
From Liszt Ferenc International Airport to train station “Déli pályaudvar” in Budapest:
a) By airport minibus: There is a city minibus service called Airport Shuttle which provides you a door to door airport transfer within Budapest.  Local transportation

No need for daily local transport, the meeting will be at the hotel. If someone would like to stay in another hotel close to Balatongyörök local transport could be used - busses are very frequent.

7. Local Money

- The local currency is Hungarian Forint (HUF)
- Changing money is possible at the airport or in Keszthely
- Money machines are available in Balatongyörök
- In the hotels Credit Cards can be used or cash.

8. Local Weather

Average maximum temparature in June is 25 degrees Celsius and the average minimum is 15 degrees. The temperature in the afternoon is normally between 25 and 30 degrees and can peak to 35 degrees. June is the month with the highest average precipitation and ranges from 70-80 mm.

9. Excursion

As soon as more information is available, it will be announced in this document.

10. Meeting costs

The meeting costs for every participant will be announced later. Estimated costs will be around 150 Euro pp., but depends on the number of participants.

Included in these costs are Lunch, Venue costs, Excursion.
Not included are costs for Hotel, bus, taxi, breakfasts, dinner(s).

Meeting costs will need to be paid in cash in Hungarian Forint. Invoices will be issued at the meeting.
